NBA team Oklahoma City Thunder's 26-year-old forward Kevin Durant will be out of action for between six-to-eight weeks at least because of an injury to his right foot.
According to a statement from the club on Sunday, the 2013-14 regular season's ‘Most Valuable Player’ has been diagnosed with a Jones fracture in his right foot.
It is reported that the All-Star small forward will undergo surgery, keeping him out of action for well over a month, likely missing the first 17 games of the NBA's new season.
Having averaged 32 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game last season, Thunder regular Durant has missed only 16 games throughout his seven-year NBA career.
