Erdogan to speak to US president by telephone

ANKARA

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expecting a telephone call from U.S. President Donald Trump later Tuesday night, a presidential official said.

Erdogan’s office said the call would take place just after midnight local time (2100GMT). It will be the first time the two leaders have spoken since Trump took office on Jan. 20.
