Turkey's exports in June up

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's exports in June totaled $11.8 billion, a 1.8 percent improvement compared with data for the same month last year, a Turkish Exporters Assembly report said Friday.

Overall exports, however, have fallen by 6.6 percent within the last 12 months to $141 billion, according to the report.

The assembly also said exports fell by 3.8 percent to $70.6 billion during the January-June 2016 period as opposed to the January-June 2015 period.
