LONDON
"Important clarification on Homs. WFP (World Food Program) not awaiting permission from both sides, just the regime." said UK representative to the Syrian opposition, Jon Wilks on his official Twitter account on Tuesday.
Wilks said that UN humanitarian officials were reviewing a decision to unblock access to allow a humanitarian convoy into the Syrian city of Homs.
He said, "Ball (is) still in regime's court."
Wilks, who is in Geneva, stressed that the Syria regime should let the humanitarian convoy into the Syrıan town of Homs, so the people in the country could decide whether to stay or leave.
United Nations and Arab League Special Envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi announced late on Monday that there was no final agreement yet on the humanitarian situation in Homs, despite the reports on Sunday that the Syria regime would allow women and children to leave the besieged town of Homs.
