Rescuers on Friday recovered eight more bodies from under a factory building that collapsed in Lahore earlier this week.
Officials said 36 people were killed and more than 50 were injured in the incident. Some of the wounded remain in critical condition.
According to Mohammad Usman, Lahore’s top official, rescuers continued to look for survivors through the debris for the third day in a row Friday.
Rescue teams had earlier pulled out more than 100 people from under the rubble.
Pakistan has a long history of industrial disasters, many of them due to safety violations.
