Short but intense rainfall triggered flash floods in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China on Monday, forcing the evacuation and relocation of stranded residents.
The downpour led to flash flooding in Qinzhou, according to state-run Global Times.
Several schools were also suspended due to severe weather conditions.
Local fire authorities deployed 25 fire trucks and 150 firefighters to the area, while 30 trapped residents were evacuated and relocated before noon.
