Anadolu Agency’s New Generation Journalists' Training Program ended Tuesday.
The two-day program was the latest event Anadolu Agency's News Academy hosted in capital Ankara.
Nine students -- including Afghan, Nigerian, Iraqi, Indonesian, Bangladeshi, Albanian and Moroccan nationals -- who are associated with Ankara-based Asma Kopru International Student Association enrolled in the program.
The program included theoretical and practical training on news-writing, Anadolu Agency’s international broadcasting policies, and new media.
Veteran Anadolu Agency editors joined the program as lecturers.
Practical and theoretical lessons were included in the program.
Ejaz Kadry, a Bangladeshi student who is studying at Turkey’s Selcuk University, told Anadolu Agency that participating in the program was “a big change” for him.
Another student from Albania, Fredinant Hasmuca, who studies at Ankara University said the News Academy showed him how to use social media "the right way".
