ANKARA
International public relation (PR) experts from around the globe are preparing to meet in Istanbul to discuss such issues as social media.
The two-day Global PR Summit whose main media sponsor will be the Anadolu Agency, will open its doors in Istanbul on Thursday.
"International PR experts from Google, Visa, Rolls Royce, P&G and Iceland Air are scheduled to attend the third edition of the Global PR Summit," Kosta Petrov, event director for the summit, said.
"I am confident that the event will help delegates master even the hardest challenges in today’s rapidly changing PR world. Plus, the networking is amazing because aside from Turkey we have delegates coming from across the world including Denmark, Macedonia, Serbia and Croatia," Petrov said.
Petrov said that all presentations at the Global PR Summit were practical. "We will discuss real challenges and we will try to find real and practical solutions to those challenges," he said.
The central theme of this year's event is "Reputation management in a social media era".
