Istanbul set to make some noise with American queen of pop Lady Gaga, Canadian jazz artist Ima and Turkish megastar Tarkan.
- Lady Gaga to hit Istanbul
Istanbul will host legendary American pop singer and songwriter Lady Gaga on September 16 at the city's ITU stadium.
The pop icon, having sold nearly four million concert tickets on her previous tours, will now visit Turkey as part of her ‘artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball’ tour.
Organized by Positive Live in association with Live Nation Global Touring, the Istanbul concert will be one of the first dates on the tour, which is to support her third studio album ‘Artpop’ (2013).

- Canadian jazz artist Ima comes to Turkey
Just three days before Lady Gaga, Istanbul will host Canadian jazz artist Ima on September 13th.
Synthesizing French, English, Italian and Spanish music, Ima will be performing for her Turkish fans at Istanbul's Akasya Acibadem.
Ima has secured a year in the charts with her ‘Smile’ album and fans can see her Istanbul performance for free.
- Turkish ‘King of Pop’ Tarkan to entertain Istanbulites for three days
Tarkan will be performing at Istanbul's Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Stage between September 11 to 14.
The World Music-award winning Turkish pop singer has been known for the use of romantic themes in his work and has been dubbed the ‘Prince of Pop’ by the media.
He has sold over 15 million records and charted top 40 singles for every hit released from 1992 to the present day.

- Nacho Vigalondo’s latest film: ‘Open Windows’
A thriller directed and written by Spain’s Nacho Vigalondo, ‘Open Windows’ will be at the movies this week in Istanbul as of September 12.
The film deals with themes of cyber-espionage and computer security.
Premiered on March 10, 2014 in Madrid, the film stars Elijah Wood, Sasha Grey and Neil Maskell.
