Germany's producer prices in November post first annual increase since mid-2023

ISTANBUL

Producer prices in Germany were up 0.1% in November on a yearly basis, the federal statistics bureau Destatis said on Friday.

The increase in November was the first year-on-year rise since June 2023, Destatis noted.

Higher capital goods prices were the main reason for the annual climb in producer prices.

Capital goods prices in November rose 1.9% versus the same month last year.

Meanwhile, producer prices went up 0.5% on a monthly basis in November.
