Istanbul Forexpo to begin Saturday

ANKARA

Istanbul Forexpo, Turkey’s second major foreign exchange and finance fair, will kick off on Saturday.

Anadolu Agency is the "Global Communication Partner" for the event, which will conclude on Sunday. The main focus of the event will be introducing foreign exchange market companies and other financial intermediary establishments and potential clients.

Ilhami Koc, head of the Turkish Capital Markets Association (TSBP), a self-regulatory organization in the Turkish capital market, said: “You can buy and sell anything on these platforms. Hence, this is such a platform that is kind of an alternative for local exchange markets”.

Koc added that these economic activities could enter every household easily and it was a much easier process compared to classical transactions.

Ahmet Unal, head of the company organizing the event, said that they hosted a successful event last year and it was important to organize these events.

Unal also thanked Anadolu Agency for sponsoring the event.
