ANKARA
Ten private and state-run lenders from Turkey are among the world's most valuable 500 banking brands with a total value of $10 billion, according to a report by Brand Finance -- an international brand valuation company -- and The Banker magazine.
Turkey's Akbank ranked 86th with a brand value of $2.1 billion on the list of the world's most valuable banking brands and the country's Is Bankasi ranked 89th with a brand value of $2.06 billion.
State-run Halkbank and Vakifbank also made to the list of top 500 with brand values of $1.06 billion and $829 million, respectively.
