ANKARA
The third party cost sharing agreement between Turkey and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was published in the Turkish official gazette Sunday.
Turkey will contribute $15 million for the implementation of the UNDP Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States Regional Program as per an agreement approved by the board of ministers on May 13 and letter of Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated April 24, 2015.
The agreement signed on June 20 last year envisaged a contribution of $15 million in total with five equal installments until May 2018.
Turkey has become the third largest donor globally last year after the U.S. and the U.K., according to the Global Humanitarian Relief report, showing the country was most helpful country in terms of Gross Domestic Product
