Turkey to promote domestic products

ANKARA

All goods produced in Turkey are required to carry a special label showing that it is made in Turkey, according to a newly introduced regulation by the Trade Ministry on Tuesday.

The ministry said in a statement that the move was aimed at supporting economic stability through promoting the sale of Turkish products.

"Recent fluctuations in prices have led to the necessity of taking additional measures in the price label legislation in favor of the consumers," the statement read.
