Turkey's exports in June were up 3.59 percent when compared to the same period last year and reached a figure of 11.8 billion USD, the Chairman of Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) Mehmet Buyukeksi said on Monday in a press conference held at the Rize Chamber of Trade in the north-eastern province of Rize.
Our exports in the first six months of 2012 were up 11.28 percent when compared to the same term last year and reached a figure of 72.9 billion USD, Buyukeksi stated.
In the last 12 months, Turkey's exports were up 14.07 percent and reached a figure of 142.3 billion USD, Buyukeksi said.
In June, most of Turkey's exports were made from the automotive sector and were worth 1.6 billion USD, Buyukeksi also said.
