ANKARA
Turkey's industrial production increased 4.4 percent in February 2013 when compared to February 2012.
It also rose 1.5 percent compared to January 2013, stated TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, on Monday.
In the sub sectors of the industry, mining and quarrying increased 2.2 percent, manufacturing increased 2 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased 1.9 percent in February 2013 when compared to January 2013.
In the sub sectors of the industry, mining and quarrying decreased 3.2 percent, manufacturing increased 7 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased 7.2 percent in February 2013 when compared to February 2012.
