ISTANBUL
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek warned that "a great fire" had engulfed countries using euro, saying the scope of the crisis called for urgent measures.
Speaking at a session at the World Economic Forum in Istanbul, Simsek said the crisis made banks in Europe "very fragile" which he said were already in peril due to toxic assets, adding that governments also faced a difficult financial bottleneck.
