ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 9,077.01 points, up 0.76% or 68.14 points from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 dropped 0.12% to 9,008.87 points, with a daily transaction volume of 72.3 billion Turkish liras ($1.84 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.1850 liras to the US dollar, 44.8250 to the euro, and 53.0890 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,354.20, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.65 per barrel.
