URUMQI (AA) - September 3, 2012 - The new development zone in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China, is waiting for Turkish investors.
Several incentive and development zones have been established in Urumqi.
Officials said that almost 7,000 square meters of area, located in 48 km north of Urumqi, was reserved for Turkey.
Infrastructure and superstructure works are under way in the region.
Lands in industrial zones could be leased for 50 years and lands in commercial zones could be leased for 40 years, officials said.
