Armed police deployed near London financial district

ISTANBUL

Footage posted online on Friday showed armed British police cordoning off an area of the U.K. capital close to a major rail station and an important financial district.

Local media reported police evacuating an area around Liverpool Street, amid claims officers were investigating a suspicious item.
