Greek teachers walked off the job on Friday to protest against a bill changing middle and high school and regulates the country's university entrance system.
Members of the Greek Federation of Secondary State School Teachers (OLME) went on a 24-hour strike, halting education in all secondary and high schools across the country.
Strikers will gather in central squares in Athens, Patra and Thessaloniki to demand the withdrawal of the Education Ministry bill from the parliament, according to a statement by OLME.
