ANKARA
Turkey's Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez met his German counterpart Peter Altmaier in capital Ankara on Friday and discussed energy cooperation between the two countries and investment opportunities.
Donmez and Altmaier also discussed regional projects and developments.
The German energy and minister is on a two-day visit to Ankara. On Thursday, he attended the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) meeting along with Turkey's Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan.
On Friday, he is attending the Turkish-German Energy Forum, which provides a dialogue platform for companies, and research organizations.
Later in the day, Altmaier will meet Turkey's Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank.
