🇩🇪 Germany marks 36th anniversary of reunification, when East and West Germany officially reunited on Oct. 3, 1990 📌 Berlin Wall, built in 1961 to prevent people escaping East Germany, stretched around 155 km, with 302 watchtowers and 8 border crossings 🗓️ Wall fell on Nov. 9, 1989, paving way for German reunification the following year
