Lebanon’s Hezbollah group announced Wednesday that it carried out 51 attacks using rockets, drones and artillery shells targeting Israeli settlements, bases, gatherings, forces and military vehicles.
It said the strikes were "in defense of Lebanon and its people" as Israeli attacks on the country have been continuing since March 2.
Hezbollah rockets caused destruction to buildings and vehicles in the settlement of Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel.
Videos published by Israeli media, including Channel 12, showed plumes of smoke rising above damaged buildings and cars in the settlement.
Channel 14 reported that “direct damage was inflicted on a building in Kiryat Shmona following rocket fire from Lebanon.”
