The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 2,586, the Lebanese Health Ministry said Thursday, as hostilities continue to take a heavy toll on civilians.
The ministry said the number injured has reached 8,020.
A 10-day ceasefire that began April 17 was later extended until May 17, but Israel continues to violate the agreement daily through airstrikes and the demolition of homes in southern Lebanon, according to officials.
