Abbas called upon the international community to provide protection to the Palestinian people.
Palestian goverment also condemned the Israeli attack to Anadolu Agency's office in Gaza.
“Israel's hitting Anadolu Agency's office [in Gaza] is an attempt to get rid of the witnesses, a preparation of massacres in Gaza,” Palestinian government said in a statement.
He said that “the silence on Israel's crimes and violations of international law encourages it to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.”
The Israeli raids followed Friday's escalation when an Israeli air raid targeted the strip, leaving four Palestinians martyred and another 51 wounded.
Since Friday, seven Palestinians have been martyred -- by Israeli airstrikes -- across the blockaded territory.
