DAMASCUS
A total of 58 people including 8 children and 6 women were killed in several cities of Syria on Sunday in operations staged by forces loyal to the Syrian regime, activists said.
Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, said that Assad forces killed 13 in Idlib, 11 in Aleppo, 8 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 7 in Dera'a, 7 each in Homs and Hama, 4 in Deir al-Zor, 2 in Raqqah and one in el-Haseqqeh in air and land offensives.
SNHR also added, during the air based operations of regime forces on opposition groups caused the killing of 8 children and 6 women and moreover, 3 others died who were exposed to torture.
Furthermore, SANA, Syrian national news agency reported that a helicopter crashed in Aleppo. SANA news report which based on an official from Governorate of Aleppo city stated that armed opposition groups shot down a helicopter in Nubul town of Aleppo which was carrying personnel of Education Ministry.
