At the first meeting of the Arab League's Ministerial Committee on the Arab Peace Initiative, the developments and the latest situation in Palestine were discussed.
Along with foreign ministers of Arab countries, the closed-to-press meeting hosted Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem Al-Thani, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and the Arab League's Secretary General Nabil Al-Arabi.
The Committee stated that they decided to consider the peace process between Palestine and Israel and decided Arab states to send 100 million USD to Palestine monthly.
In the second meeting of the Arab League's Ministerial Committee, they covered the latest situation of Syria as well.
