Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Abdessalem stressed that hundreds of people were getting massacred in Syria on a daily basis.
"Assad, who massacres his own people, is an obstacle in front of the Syrians. As such, Assad must leave office for security in Syria and the establishment of a new government in the future," Abdessalem underlined.
"We are pleased with Turkey's regional and international role. Turkey's achievements in all fields, beginning with the economic and political ones, are a 'role model' for the whole region," Abdessalem noted.
"Turkey is a developed state with its growth figures and strong democratic institutions. Turkish-Arab relations develop each passing day. We want to strengthen Tunisia's relations with Turkey," Abdessalem also said.
