QUETTA
At least 17 people were killed and 23 others were wounded in a car bomb blast in southwestern of Pakistan.
Local authorities said a motor vehicle laden with 100 kg explosive substance was detonated with remote control while a security vehicle was passing from Quetta, the province capital of Balochistan in southwestern of Pakistan.
Officials said the most of the wounded had been in critical condition so they feared that the death toll might increase.
On the other hand, in Hangu district in northwestern of Pakistan, a clash took place between security forces and Taliban militants.
Authorities said two soldiers were killed and 18 militants were wounded in the clash.
