At least 23 people were killed when security forces dispersed sit-ins staged by supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi outside the capital Cairo.
Eleven demonstrators were killed and 160 injured when army troops cleared a pro-Morsi sit-in in the vicinity of Hamza bin Abdel-Mottaleb Mosque in the canal city of Suez.
Five armored vehicles were deployed to secure the mosque and prevent future sit-ins, a security source told Anadolu Agency.
Security forces also dispersed a sit-in staged by pro-Morsi demonstrators in the Upper Egyptian city of Sohag's Culture Square.
At least 11 people, including four security personnel, were killed and 225 others injured in the dispersal, according to health official Mohamed Abdel-Aal.
It is not yet clear how many policemen were injured.
A pro-Morsi sit-in was also dispersed by security forces in the Red Sea city of Hurghada, leaving one person killed and 14 others wounded.
On Wednesday, security forces dispersed two major protest camps by Morsi supporters in Rabaa al-Adawiya Square in eastern Cairo and Giza's Nahda Square.
The Health Ministry said at least 278 Egyptians were killed and 2,001 others injured in violence that engulfed the country, including 61 in Rabaa and 21 in Nahda squares.
But Youssef Talaat, a member of the National Alliance for the Defense of Legitimacy, a coalition of Islamist parties and figures supportive of Morsi, put the toll at 2,600.
