Egyptian authorities partially opened the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip on Saturday after a one-day closure.
"The crossing will be open for four hours," a well-placed source at the terminal told Anadolu Agency (AA).
The source said the border gate will remain open to humanitarian cases and those travelling abroad.
Egypt closed the terminal on Friday, when supporters of deposed president Mohammad Morsi staged rallies to demand his return to power.
The terminal was closed by Egyptian authorities for five consecutive days after the army's removal of Morsi.
The border terminal was partially opened on Thursday to allow stranded Palestinians to cross.
More than 3,000 Palestinians are currently stranded on the Egyptian and Gazan sides.
Rafah crossing is Gaza's only gateway to the outside world that is not controlled by Israel.
