Egypt's Interim President Adly Mansour, appointed by the army that ousted the country's first elected president Mohamed Morsi, has called for national consensus on the recent political crisis in Egypt.
Mansour invited all the groups in the North African country to "hold a joint meeting in the first week of the Ramadan to end the bloodshed and form a national consensus" in a written statement.
"I call for national consensus to ensure the unity and solidarity, recover the loss and stop the bloodshed in the country in consideration of the beginning of Holy Ramadan" said Mansour.
