LONDON
Four suspects accused of plotting to kill police or soldiers in London are to stand trial in June next year.
The four - Tarik Hassane, 21, Suhaib Majeed, 20, Nyall Hamlett, 24, and Momen Motasim, 21, who are alleged to have sworn allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant - were informed of the decision at the Old Bailey in London on Monday.
The men are said to have carried out “hostile reconnaissance” using Google Street view on a police station in Shepherds Bush and a Territorial Army barracks in White City in London.
They are also accused of obtaining a Baikal handgun with a silencer, including ammunition.
The four are also alleged to have stored images of two Metropolitan police officers and two police community support officers on the social networking site Instagram.
