French President Francois Hollande, speaking to TF1 TV channel, stated that the agreement between Russia and the United States was a significant step but it is not enough to finalize the crisis.
Hollande expressed that in case of failure in living up to the agreement the sanction to be applied should be discussed as well.
Stating that the proposal to be submitted to UN Security Council will most probably be approved, Hollande said that the military operation option should be included in the agreement or else the agreement will not be deterring and binding.
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will meet his British and American counterparts in Paris to talk on the proposal on Monday.
