Israeli war jets bombed a Syrian military research center located in the suburb area of Damascus.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Syrian armed forces said that Israeli war jets made a direct attack on a Syrian military research center located in Jemraya region, a suburb of Damascus.
"The Syrian military research center was a place where works to strengthen Syrian defense were carried out. Two Syrian officials died and five others were wounded in the attack. There has been serious material damage at the center. Israeli jets used the same route on the way back to Israel," the Syrian armed forces stated.
"News reports arguing that Israeli war jets attacked a Syrian military convoy going to Lebanon do not reflect the reality," the Syrian armed forces also said.
