Israel denied the claims that it was building a wall along Syrian border.
Israeli Foreign Ministry deputy spokesperson Elena Stein told AA on Thursday that the news, which claimed that Israel was building a new wall along Syrian border in Golan, were groundless.
Israel is not building a wall along Syrian border; it is only reinforcing the existing barriers due to the tension in Syria, added Stein.
Israel's border with Syria in Golan region was shaped in 1967.
