The Israeli Army launched seven air strikes on different districts in the Gaza Strip on Monday morning.
Palestinian security sources told that after the missile attack from Gaza Sunday night, Israeli warplanes attacked the districts of Rafah, Khan Yunis and Al Zawaideh for seven times. Most of the missiles hit non-residential areas why there was no casualtines.
The Israeli warplanes targeted the training camp of the Islamic Jihad near the city of Rafah.
The Israeli Army said the attack was a response to the four rockets which were launched from the Gaza Strip on Israel on Sunday night.
Lieberman calls for occupation of Gaza
Israel's former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman reacting to failed rocket attacks from Gaza to Israel said on Monday "Israel should consider recapturing Gaza and carrying out a thorough cleaning”.
Lieberman, the Chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee said in a statement to the army radio that if Israel were to allow the status quo to persist, Hamas would amass a fleet of aircraft and missiles that would threaten populous coastal towns like Tel Aviv and Netanya.
Lieberman told, "Hamas has no intention of reconciling with a Jewish presence in Israel. That's why we need to return to the Gaza Strip and conduct a thorough cleaning."
After the tension in the Gaza Strip, border crossings between Gaza and Israel were closed.
Israel banned visits to Palestinian inmates in the Raymond prison by relatives Yasin Najjar, spokesperson of Red Cross in Gaza said.
