Muslim Brotherhood has called for aid for hundreds of wounded people treated at a field hospital at Rabaa al-Adawiya Square in eastern Cairo.
At least 120 people were killed and 4,500 others wounded in the early hours of Saturday Egyptian army opened fire on supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi near Rabaa al-Adawiya.
Spokesman for Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed al-Baltaji called for aid for the injured people via the Anadolu Agency (AA) , and said, "We are expecting aid from everybody. International Red Crescent should immediately take action to save the lives of hundreds of people wounded by real bullets."
Officials at the field hospital also told the AA that number of wounded people exceeded thousands and at least 300 of them were shot by live fire.
