SARAJEVO (AA) - In front of the Embassy of Egypt in Sarajevo on Saturday Egyptian diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered for peaceful protests to support ousted President Mohamed Morsi, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
Egyptians and Bosnians gathered in front of the embassy to support democratically elected Egyptian President Mursi who was ousted on July 3 after massive demonstrations in Cairo.
Spokesman of diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yasser Lila told AA that they gathered today to support Egyptian people who demonstrate on the streets protesting the new regime that took power after the military coup, throwing legally elected president.
"People elected the president and parliament, as well as constitution. The army came after that and destroyed everything. We are against it. There is no peace in Egypt until Egyptian people feels that their word is the last word," said Lila.
He added that nobody can impose the authority by force.
"Egyptian people felt betrayed by Defense Minister Abdulfetah al-Sisi," said Lila adding that interim Egyptian president has no power and that Sisi is the one who decides in Egypt.
Egyptian diaspora organized several protests of support, in Sarajevo and Zenica.
"Today we are in front of the embassy to send the message to interim authority in Egypt," said Lila.
