Saudi Arabia closed its air space to the airplane carrying President of Sudan al-Bashir, who was flying to Iran for new President Hassan Rouhani's oath-taking ceremony.
According to the news of Sudan News Agency, the airplane carrying President of Sudan Umar al-Bashir could not get permission to use the air space of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi authorities stated that the permission in question could not be given because the flight crew had given misinformation.
Sudan's state television announced that the airplane returned to Sudan.
It was claimed that Saudi Arabia did not open its air space because the two countries have different policies on Iran.
