Press Coordinator of Combined Command of Free Syrian Army (FSA) Luey Mikhdad said the US and many European countries pledged to arm the Syrian opposition.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency reporter, Mikhdad defined the decision as "delayed, but an exact step."
Urging the international community to keep the Syrian regime from walking " the red line" related to the usage of chemical weapons, Mikhdad said "Otherwise, Assad regime will target all of the cities in the country with the Scud missiles carrying non-conventional warheads."
Mikhdad said the arms aid would save thousand of lives.
