KHARTOUM
A clash between two rival tribes in Sudan's western region of Darfur left 51 people dead and more than 45 others wounded on Wednesday.
The clashes between the Maaliya and Rezeigat tribes broke out due to a land dispute, Abu Qzanka governor Osman Kaseem told AA.
One hundered people were killed in fighting between the same tribes last month.
Despite signing a peace deal, the rival tribes could not stick to it, according to Kaseem.
Tribal disputes in Sudan are often triggered by conflicts over rights to resources, including land, water, minerals and livestock.
