The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) on Thursday said that 300 million USD were urgently needed for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
In a statement released on Thursday, UNRWA underlined that 300 million USD were urgently needed especially to meet the food, health, potable water, psychological support, and financial needs of Palestinians in Gaza.
In its statement, the UNRWA indicated that Gaza was under Israeli blockade for nearly six years and that around one million people in Gaza were in need of food items.
