Turkish Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman and AK Party MP Volkan Bozkir said United States had to arm the Syrian oppsition very quickly.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency reporter, Bozkir said "Before the Geneva Conference, the opposition fighting for the future of Syria must be armed and provided humanitarian aid in order that the opposition forces could attend the Geneva Conference at equal terms with the Assad regime."
Bozkir added that US' arms aid decision to the opposition was a very important indicator that Bashar Al Assad's regime in Syria reached the end of the road.
Touching upon the US' detection of chemical weapon used in Syria, Bozkir said "In a sense, the determination of the usage of chemical weapon has revealed the accuracy of the information and validity of the intelligence of Turkey."
