JERUSALEM
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated Monday they were determined over prohibiting Iran from making nuclear weapons.
Speaking in a joint press conference before meeting Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, Netanyahu stated they, as Israel and Nigeria, had common interests in fighting against terrorism.
Netanyahu claimed Iran was prominent supporter of terrorism in the world and that Iran continued to its programme on developing nuclear weapons.
Noting also over the nuclear negotiation talks between Iran and five permanent members (P5+1) of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) under the presidency of European Union (EU), Netanyahu said, "Iranian officials have said that the recent meetings were constructive and beneficial. I'm sure it's beneficial for Iran because they have gained time to continue for enriching uranium and producing decomposable for nuclear weapons."
He added it was important for Nigeria and countries in Africa and Middle East that Iran did not own nuclear weapons.
