ANTALYA
Turkish Airlines Open 2013 Golf Tournament will be held in Belek town of southern Antalya province between November 7 and 10.
The $7 million award-winning tournament will feature 78 golfers including world-famous Tiger Woods.
Chief Marketing Officer at THY Faruk Cizmecioglu stated that they were glad to support the tournament.
"Tiger Woods, to come Turkey for the tournament, will make history by striking on the Bosphorus Bridge" Cizmecioglu said.
Woods had stated he grew impatient to visit Turkey and said, "I had a great time during my first visit to Turkey. Turkish Airlines, the Turkish Golf Federation and the fans who came to watch made it a really special event and I’m looking forward to play there once again”.
The 2013 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Final will conclude in Antalya at the same time as the Turkish Airlines Open. Winner of the tournament will have the chance to partner with Tiger Woods during Turkish Airlines Open.
