Euro 2016: Spain narrowly defeat Czech Republic

Spain narrowly defeated the Czech Republic 1-0 in the Euro 2016 Group D match in Toulouse on Monday.

The Czech Republic had adopted a defensive playing style and it took Spain 87 minutes to break it down. Barcelona attacking midfielder Andres Iniesta's cross found Gerard Pique's head to make it 1-0.

Spain's attacking midfielder David Silva, 30, earned his 100th cap.
