England captain and 2026 Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane has extended his contract with Bayern Munich until June 30, 2029, the German Bundesliga club announced Thursday.
The 33-year-old striker, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023, has scored 156 goals in 161 competitive appearances for the Munich club.
"I feel right at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich," Kane said in a statement on the club's website.
"We have a fantastic team and, in Vincent Kompany, a fantastic manager. It makes me very proud to be part of this club. My whole family is very happy here. I was keen to stay. I'm now looking forward to the future and I want to win many more titles with this great club."
Speaking at a news conference alongside Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member for sport Max Eberl, Kane said extending his contract had been an easy decision.
"I didn't have to think about it for long. I'm at the best place I can be," he said. "If I didn't believe in the team, if I didn't believe we could win the biggest titles, I would've looked at other options.”
Kane has helped Bayern win two Bundesliga titles, a German Cup and two German Super Cups, since arriving in Germany.
He has finished as the Bundesliga's leading scorer in each of his three seasons with the club and twice won the European Golden Shoe.
Kane also won the 2026 Ballon d'Or after scoring 61 goals in 51 appearances for Bayern during the 2025-26 season, when the club completed a domestic league and cup double.
