Sassuolo stun Juventus 3-2 after dramatic 3-goal finale

Sassuolo stunned Juventus 3-2 on Sunday in a dramatic Serie A encounter that produced three goals from the 89th minute, including a stoppage-time winner from Juventus loanee Vasilije Adzic.

After a goalless first half, Sassuolo broke the deadlock in the 65th minute when Nemanja Matic released Sebastiano Esposito, who raced onto the pass and slotted a low finish past Guglielmo Vicario.

Juventus equalized in the 82nd minute after Sassuolo goalkeeper Arijanet Muric failed to fully clear Lloyd Kelly's cross, allowing Edon Zhegrova to collect the loose ball and fire it into the bottom corner.

The match then produced a remarkable finish with three goals from the 89th minute.

Kieron Bowie restored Sassuolo's lead in the 89th minute, converting Darryl Bakola’s cutback with a low finish to make it 2-1.

Juventus responded in the first minute of stoppage time as Zhegrova combined with Randal Kolo Muani before firing underneath Muric for his second goal of the match.

But Sassuolo struck again deep into stoppage time.

With Juventus pushing forward, the hosts launched a counterattack and Armand Lauriente found Adzic in space before the Juventus loanee curled a precise finish into the top-right corner in the 94th minute to seal a dramatic 3-2 victory against his parent club.

The result handed Juventus their first Serie A defeat of the season, leaving them on seven points, while Sassuolo moved level with them on seven.
